Course Registration

 




Continuing Students:
Students are required to register for the next quarter courses during the four (4) weeks of the registration period (week 6-9). Registration by online, without paying the Registration Fee, does not constitute official registration for continuing courses. Late Registration is defined as after the registration period deadline and will be subject to a late fee of $150.00.

New Students:
Course registration can be made at any time but no later than the end of the first week of the first enrolled quarter.


Registration Procedures:

South Baylo University admits new students every quarter. All students must register for certain courses in keeping with their academic plans and for which they meet the stated prerequisites. All students are required to meet academic advisors before enrollment and at least once each quarter. Registration forms are available at the reception area.

  1. Students may register online or in the Front Office.
  2. Students must bring the online course registration print-out to the ProgramDirector for approval signature.
  3. Students must bring the signed online registration print-out form to the Administration Office for tuition and fee payments.

Special Registration:

Less Than 12 Units Per Quarter:

  1. Students need to complete an Add & Drop Form.
  2. The completed Add & Drop form must be given to the Program Director for approval signature.
  3. Student must bring the signed Add & Drop form to the Administration Office for tuition and fee payments.

*Student with an Outstanding Balance must see the Finance Officer.


Note:
The system will not accept your course registration if:

  1. Student does not meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). A minimum of 12 units per quarter is required.
  2. Student exceed maximum course load (combined didactic and clinic course load should be less than 35 hours per week).
  3. Student has an outstanding account balance.

Students who plan to take a Leave of Absence must complete a Leave of Absence Form and submit the form to the Program Director for signature. A Leave of Absence must not exceed 180 days in any 12-month period to avoid withdrawal status.

SBUVA Registration Regulation

Students are required to register for the next quarter courses and pay a Registration Fee of $55.00, tuition, and related fees during the posted registration. Online registration without paying the Registration fee does not constitute official registration for continuing classes. To meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and time limitation for graduation, MSAOM students are required to register for a minimum of twelve (12) quarter units.

Registration for Clinic Internship

Interns can only enroll in the clinic internship program upon approval by the Clinic Director.

Clinic hours during quarter break can be used to makeup missing clinic hours or up clinic requirement deficiencies.

Late Registration

Continuing students must register for the next quarter and pay the registration fee of $55.00 during the registration period (week 6 to week 9 of each quarter) to avoid a late registration fee of $150.00.

Continuing students who have not officially registered by the last day of the registration period can enroll into courses during the first two weeks of the quarter and pay the $150.00 late registration fee. Students cannot register later than the Wednesday of the second week of the quarter which is the last day of Add/Drop. A late fee of $15.00 per course will be charged if a student adds a class after the last day of Add/Drop, provided that the student did not miss more than two (2) weeks of class attendance.

Students returning from a Leave of Absence (LOA) or from withdrawal status are allowed up to the Wednesday of the 2nd week of the quarter to enroll in classes without paying the late registration fee. No enrollment or addition of any course is permitted if a student has missed more than two (2) weeks of classes.
