Accreditation and Approvals

The Masters’ degree – Oriental Medicine program in English and the Master’s Degree program– Oriental Medicine in Korean of the South Baylo University Virginia have been granted Candidacy status by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which the recognized accrediting agency for programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners. South Baylo University campuses in California are approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). South Baylo University Virginia (SBUVA) branch campus is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) to operate and offer an educational program leading to the award of a the Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

South Baylo University campuses in California participates in student financial assistance programs authorized by Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (Title IV, HEA Programs) and mandated by the United States Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).

The University’s program in California is approved for the training of veterans and other eligible persons under United States Code Title 38.

The University in California is authorized by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service to process Form I-20, enabling prospective international students to apply for an F1 Student Visa.
