South Baylo University established
auxiliary classroom in Annandale, Virginia
By establishing auxiliary classrooms in Fairfax County,
Virginia, SBU is consistent and in alignment with its Mission, to
expand professional, clinical, and scientific knowledge of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine among students, faculty, staff, and the general
public through effective teaching, scholarly activity, and quality
patient care.
Establishing the auxiliary classrooms and subsequently
the development of a branch campus provide opportunities for the
University to disseminate the wealth of knowledge in Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine through effective teaching and student learning.

AMOUNT OF PROGRAM OFFERED
South Baylo University plans to offer approximately 40% of the
courses in the Masters Program AOM curriculum (260 quarter units).
A total of 103 quarter units of lower division courses in
both Oriental Medicine Department and Biomedicine Department will
be offered. 61 out of the 126 quarter units of Oriental Medicine,
Acupuncture, and Herbology courses in the Oriental Medicine Department
will be offered; while 42 out of the 86 quarter units of Biomedicine
and Clinical Medicine courses in the Biomedicine Department will
be offered. 48 quarter units or 960 hours of Clinical Internship
will not be offered. Students must complete the other lower
division courses, all upper division courses, and clinical internship
in the main campus or other branch campuses.
