TITLE	Oriental Medicine Principles
UNIT	4
Prerequisite: None This course introduces the basic concepts underling Oriental Medicine. Thorough understanding of the concepts of physiological balance and homeostasis as they relate to the theories of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements is important and fundamental to understanding Oriental Medicine. The association of the OM theories and concepts with their historical backgrounds, philosophy, significance and clinical applications will also be included.
