TITLE	Public Health

Prerequisite: Upper Division Standing This course covers the art and science of Public and community health prevention and public health education. Also included are statistics, epidemiology, socioeconomic factors, hygiene, the prevention and eradication of epidemic diseases, approaches in treating chemical dependency, and Oriental medicine approach in treating substance dependence using needle therapy and Electro-Acupuncture (EA)/ Percutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (PENS).
