Prerequisite: None This course is an introduction to basic principles of nutrition and food metabolism which also include Vitamins and food supplements as well as essential nutritional requirements and values. The physiology of the digestive system with respect to food processing and metabolism will also be presented. Drugs-diet interactions will be covered.

Prerequisite: None This course is designed to introduce basic concepts and techniques of collecting, organizing, and analyzing data (methods of statistical analysis) in order to carry out and research a specific inquiry in Acupuncture and Orintal Medicine and related subjects . The focus is gaining knowledge in research methods and literature evaluation to apply later in a research project of one's own design.
